Brioni is an Italian luxury menswear house founded in Rome in 1945 by master tailor Nazareno Fonticoli and entrepreneur Gaetano Savini. The brand is widely recognized as one of the most influential names in modern menswear tailoring, defining the Roman approach to elegant, structured yet effortless suiting. Brioni became famous for elevating bespoke tailoring to an international standard, dressing global leaders, Hollywood actors, and members of the cultural elite. A key milestone in its history was the first men’s fashion show in 1952 at the Sala Bianca of Palazzo Pitti in Florence, which helped establish Brioni as a pioneer in luxury menswear presentation.
