Jessie Western

Jessie Western brings the spirit of the American West into a distinctly London-made world. Founded by sisters Jessie and Vicky, the Portobello Road label has spent decades developing its own vocabulary of hand-drawn prints, vintage textiles, Western detailing and jewellery made in collaboration with Native American artists. The collections are rich in character: fringed suede jackets, embroidered and blanket coats, silk and cashmere pieces, concho belts, turquoise and silver jewellery, and one-off designs that sit somewhere between fashion and collectable object. Jessie draws many of the brand’s prints herself, giving even its most elaborate pieces a deeply personal quality. There is a sense of discovery to Jessie Western — part Western archive, part London eccentricity, part artisanal craft. Nothing feels mass-produced or overly polished. The pieces are expressive, tactile and made with the intention of becoming part of a personal collection rather than simply another season’s wardrobe.
