Founded in Marseille in 2005 by Michaël Azoulay, American Vintage began with a simple idea: to reinvent the everyday T-shirt through softer fabrics and more considered cuts. That instinct has grown into a full wardrobe of understated essentials, built around relaxed proportions, tactile jersey, fine knits and an expansive palette of washed neutrals and seasonal colour. The collection layers easily, moving from fluid dresses and oversized shirts to lightweight sweaters, denim and understated outerwear. Familiar pieces are made distinctive through fabric, fit and colour—an approach that gives American Vintage its quietly recognisable, lived-in character.
