NAGHEDI is a New York-based accessories brand founded in 2016 by designer Sara Naghedi. Drawing on her experience in accessories, Naghedi set out to create bags that combine everyday practicality with a distinctive woven texture. The label became recognised for its handwoven neoprene designs, bringing a contemporary material to a technique more often associated with traditional baskets and leather goods. Soft construction, generous shapes, and an extensive palette give the bags a relaxed character, while the interlaced surface provides a recognisable visual identity without prominent branding. Totes, shoulder bags, and smaller accessories reflect an approach centred on versatility, moving between work, travel, and leisure. Colour plays an important role, with understated neutrals and expressive combinations offering different interpretations of the same familiar forms. Rather than relying on elaborate decoration, NAGHEDI finds character in texture, proportion, and the rhythm of the weave, presenting an alternative to conventional handbags that feels tactile, adaptable, and distinctly modern.
